Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

What is it all about?

The craniosacral system is a major system. It has a powerful influence which exercises upon total bodily function. It encloses the brain, spinal cord and 2 important glands, the pitultary and pineal glands (Hormones).

The brain and spinal cord are masters of our total nervous system and control all of our bodily functions. When the skull bones loose their ability to move (eg; blows to the head), the changing pressures become compromised and symptoms may occur.

The opening into the skull via the vertebrae can also become compressed (eg; whiplash and at birth), thus causing an imbalance in the craniosacral system.
