Craniosacral (CST) & Bowen Therapy are techniques that are used to restore the natural rhythmic movement of cerebral spinal fluid found between the bones of the skull, the spinal cord and the sacrum.
Craniosacral therapists believe that the natural movements at the skull bones come from the membrane that lines our nervous system structures, namely the brain and spinal cord. The purpose of it is to aid the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid throughout the central nervous system.
It involves very gentle pressure (fully clothed) applied to the skull, sacrum and body to improve the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid throughout the central nervous system.

Rather than applying great pressure or continually rubbing painful areas, Shiatsu involves various subtle techniques to access and calm the body’s balance of energy (‘Qi’ in Japanese). This includes tapping, stretching, working joints and kneading various parts of the body where the Qi is active, known as ‘vital points’. For more complete information visit the blog Read more
